Cycle to Open Streets Mitchells Plain: Plainsman BikeBus

Join the 'Plainsman Bike Bus' to get to Open Streets Mitchells Plain 2017 on Sunday April 2nd 2017 and cycle in a fun 22km group ride across Cape Town. 
Its called a bus because there is a leader 'bus driver' guiding a group along a predetermined route with a set timetable. Cyclists can join and leave at various points, just like a vehicular bus, but pedal powered!

Route Details:
Distance: ±22km
Ride Leader: Kirsten Wilkins
Depart: 10:30am  Knead Bakery, Palmyra Junction, Claremont
Arrive: Noon, Eisleben Road, Mitchells Plain 
A return trip will depart at 2:30pm from OpenStreets for any riders wishing to return to Claremont. There are multiple public transport options available should you which to return home with an alternative mode. 
In addition to the ride leader, there will be experienced cycling ride marshals to assist the group, as well as a support vehicle kindly sponsored by the Pedal Power Association (PPA)
Please bring:
Your own bicycle, a helmet, a lock, a water bottle, lock and sun protection.

This ride is FREE.
