Many of us will remember Kevin Abraham form the Cape Town music days of the early eighties.
Audiences are in for a treat as he presents a special performance of his brand new show ‘Folkify' at an intimate house concert in Hout Bay on the 17th of March.
“Folkify!” Is a merging of vocals, guitar, violin and percussion.
It’s a re-introduction to Kevin’s original songs, but also includes a range of familiar pop and rock songs which have been re-imagined or ‘‘Folkified’.’’
It’s a simple concept: Uncomplicated, unaffected acoustic music that rethinks original songs, and takes a new look at some iconic older songs.
“Folkify’s” recent runs have all been sold out, and the trio have been hailed for their thoughtful, interesting, but lively performances.
If you love acoustic, you’ll love Folkify.
Doors will open at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm.
