Die Tragiese Saak van Pamina Vermaak

Pamina Vermaak is frustrated. After a spectacular fall-out with her boss, the editor of a women’s monthly, Pamina is now jobless. But this is only the catalyst for a walk-out on a bongsmoking albeit sweet boyfriend and the beginnig of a long winding road back home. Home, where her brother and his quiet anger stays, home where she, Pamina fucked up eight years ago, home, where she never took responsibility for her actions. Wolf de Jager is a famous musician. His manager sends him off to a small industrial Westcoast town to go and write songs. Wolf is uninspired to say the least. His world came crashing down, after his fiance had a a rather public affair with a famous American. Wolf started drinking too much, lost his temper on stage after being asked to sing his one hit wonder, Smile with Me, that he wrote on commision for Disney. The song that ruined his image but made him rich... Social media and the pony press finally pushed him over the edge. Pamina is forced to be honest about her mistakes and to stop being a victim of her own bad behaviour in the past. And Wolf...well he might just realise that the key to his creativity lies in the presence of this fiesty brunette.
