ABOUT
f l o o r s presents an immersive and cutting edge audio/visual performance. Combining tightly programmed lighting and visuals with a sonically diverse musical backdrop, f l o o r s merges these elements to create a multi-sensory and highly visceral experience. Their sound is integrally linked to the visual experience created in collaboration with Bad Weather Productions and the_grrrl. The ‘live’ performance element of the show is highly interactive combining the core elements of their music (guitar, keyboard and voice) with Ableton Live software; hardware synthesisers (KORG MS20 and Juno 60); hardware effects pedals and live looping.
The launch of their debut EP is taking place at Roodebloem Studios in their Church Studio and Gallery space on the 25th of March 2017. Supporting acts include contemporary electronic producer, Fever Trails and hip-hop luminaries, Beat Sampras. Alcoholic beverages and barista-served coffee will be on sale and Roastin’ Records will have vinyls on sale and available for listening before the show.
