THE EVENT
For the duration of the Food Indaba, Den Anker, a staple of the V&A Waterfront, will offer a special seafood focused menu that tells stories of the ocean. The focus is on showcasing sustainable seafood choices, and the menu will be made up of locally sourced, narrative rich seafood dishes.
On Sunday the 28th of July, join us for a special edition of the Dialogues through Food Sustainable Seafood series at Den Anker, a renowned dining destination at the V&A Waterfront. Experience the impact of sustainable fishing as each course of the menu highlights various ways sustainable ocean resource management is improving fishing communities, caring for the seas, and providing incredible bounty we enjoy on our plates.
Sonja Edridge, chef consultant to Abalobi, the South African based organisation striving to elevate small-scale fishing communities for social, economic and ecological sustainability, will join lunch as special guest host to share the Abalobi story.
Booking a ticket reserves space for Sunday the 28th of July. Reserving the space is free of charge -diners will pay for their meal directly at the restaurant on the day.
