Let's Band Together 2024 with the KZN Philhatmonic Orchestra & the KZN Youth Orchestra

The KZN Youth Orchestra and the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing together with a number of upcoming young musicians at CLIFTON SCHOOL on SATURDAY 15 JUNE.

The hour-long concert is the culmination of a day long workshop where interested young musicians between the ages of 10 and 20 get to work with professional musicians, learning what it is like to be part of an orchestra. With music encompassing a variety of genres, the concert is excellent family entertainment. Included in the programme are Fanfare, Hungarian Dance no 5, Fur Elise, How to Train Your Dragon, selections from Les Misérables, Beethoven's 5th Symphony (1^st movement), Kalinka, Conquest of Paradise, Burnout by Hotstix and Zebra Crossing.

This project is an exciting initiative of the KZN Youth Orchestra and SASMT and is funded by Mzansi Philharmonic Orchestra and KZN Performing Arts Trust.

Tickets are R50 adults and R20 pensioners and scholars.
