ABOUT

The Tech Insights: A Tech, Data and Analytics Careers Q&A Event aims to assist as many participants as possible who are interested in pursuing careers or are already in careers in the fields of technology, data and analytics by providing guidance, valuable insights, support and advise from in professionals that have extensive knowledge, skills and experience in their respective fields.


THE EVENT AIM

To empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to embark on successful careers in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of technology, data and analytics.


This event is about everything you want & NEED to know about careers in Tech, Data & Analytics.


EVENT FORMAT

  • The event will be a hybrid event that will cater for 100 in-person participants at a venue in Johannesburg and will also be streamed live online to the rest of the participants eager to take part in the event.
  • The event will be in the form of a Q&A panel where the audience gets to pre-submit their questions to the panelists which will be addressed by the panelists in the 1st 45 minutes and the last 15 minutes of the session will be an open mic Q&A part from the audience.
  • The event will be split into two sessions. The first being an hour and the second two hours and will address Tech and Data & Analytics career questions respectively from the audience.
  • The panelists for each sections of the Careers Q&A event will represent various roles within the Tech, Data & Analytics industries in order to make the event as in depth and as impactful as possible.

The following roles/ role types will be represented on the day of the event for each industry type which will assist in answering as many career related questions as possible from the audience. The aim is to have at least 4 roles represented per industry:
