Chicken Mom

When an ordinary suburban Howick Mom realises she has to look after her daughter’s little chick who has suddenly grown into a singing and dancing chicken, her world is turned upside down and inside out. 

How did the little chick grow up so fast? Where did it learn to talk and dance and sing? What will the nosey neighbours say? Will the Municipality take the chicken away?!? Whoever heard of a chicken that can sing and dance anyway!

Written and directed by Paul Spence for Winterfest, “Chicken Mom” stars Kath McClelland, her daughters Rebecca and Kate - and features the amazingly talented Axl Forder as “Chicklet”; the cutest, most loveable chicken you ever saw!
