"Hailing from KZN, EVO is an energetic, vibrant duo, influenced by various genres from CCR, Mumford and Sons & Depeche Mode to Jeremy Loops. EVO plays original songs as well as covering a few well known and not-so-well known tunes. Band members are Evan Oosthuizen (Guitar/Vocals/Drum) & Lynton Richards (Bass). Through the brand, EVOMUSIC, Evan runs events at various venues in and around Pietermaritzburg supporting local music as well being a member in 2 bands and collaborating with various artists on the stage, excluding his solo career. The genre of music falls into the Acoustic/Indie/Rock category."
