The 031 Comedy Club and Station 43 are teaming up once again to bring you one of the TIGHTEST line ups we have had in a long time.
With only 3 comedians on the night, we have carefully hand picked the performers like a wine master picks grapes. 9 out of 10 doctors say that STAND UP COMEDY and GREAT BEER are very good for you. We know that these two things get along like a petrol station on FIRE!
On the bill we have:
ALFRED ADRIAAN (JHB) (HOST)
Alfred headlined at one of our shows last month and had people bending over like a palm tree in a hurricane! We had no other choice but to bring him back. He has been nominated not once, but TWICE for a prestigious Comics Choice Award (it's like the Grammy's of comedy awards in South Africa). He describes himself as "a well-rounded comedian with a friendly disposition"... We describe him as hilarious and that's it! Come and see for yourself.
KAMZ GOVENDER (DBN) (HEADLINE 1ST HALF)
Kamalan is a young talent who has had a meteoric rise on the flourishing Durban Comedy Scene. His ability to properly deliver dead pan style of humour has seen him killing it on all stages and in front of all types of people.His recent tour with Carvin Goldstone has only cemented this gifted performer's name as one of the best amatuer comedians in the CITY!
MOJAK LEHOKO (HEADLINE 2ND HALF)
His comedy could be regarded as observational and spontaneous, with a knack for identifying the humour in even the most “dire” of circumstances. His ability to adapt to diverse audiences has allowed him to perform at comedy clubs all over South Africa. We are STOKED to have such a big Jozi household name in OUR house!
