YES PLEASE!It’s time once again for the BEST Monday of the month (damn straight there is such a thing as a good Monday). Hooters and The 031 Comedy Club team up once again to bring you an evening of entertainment that would make even the most boring of people say “yeah I’ll have another helping of that good stuff!”
WHAT A HOOT is proud to announce that this month’s line-up is one of pure quality, so without further ado let us introduce your acts for the evening:
ALFRED ADRIAAN (JHB) (HOST)
Alfred headlined at the last What A Hoot show and had people bending over like a palm tree in a hurricane! He has been nominated not once, but TWICE for a prestigious Comics Choice Award (it's like the Grammy's of comedy awards in South Africa). He describes himself as "a well-rounded comedian with a friendly disposition"... We describe him as hilarious and that's it! Come and see for yourself.
MOJAK LEHOKO (JHB) (HEADLINE)
His comedy could be regarded as observational and spontaneous, with a knack for identifying the humour in even the most “dire” of circumstances. His ability to adapt to diverse audiences has allowed him to perform at comedy clubs all over South Africa. We are STOKED to have such a big Jozi household name in OUR house!
MASOOD BOOMGAARD (DBN) (SUPPORT)
Masood Bomgaard is clever, witty and has jokes that are so well written that even your grandmother would laugh at them. She might even tell you that back in her day it wasn't normal for a muslim man to get up in front of people and make them guffaw, cackle and chortle as much as Masood will be doing on this fantastic night of funny.
And because we just LOVE spoling you, we are also featuring NKOSINATHI MAKI (JHB) who will be featuring his unique style of rib tickling stand up.
