Terms & Conditions

By booking and/or accepting a ticket to the Beauty Hall & Grand Paardevlei Store Opening Launch Event, you acknowledge that you agree to these terms and conditions:

Medirite Plus | Grand Paardevlei Store Opening Competition T&Cs

1. This competition is organised by Medirite Plus (“the Organisers”) and is open to all South African citizens residing in the Republic of South Africa (a valid South African identity document is required), except directors, members, business partners, employees, sales agents, advertising agency staff and the immediate family member of all the aforesaid (including, but not limited to spouses, life partners, parents, children, brothers and sisters).

2. The competition details are as follows:

There is no entry fee necessary to enter this competition. Entrants are to:

2.1 Book their FREE ticket to the Medirite Plus Paardevlei grand opening event via Quicket.

2.2 Attend the Medirite Plus Paardevlei grand opening event at Medirite Plus Paardevlei, between 10am and 2pm, on Saturday 25 May 2024.

2.3 Winner(s) must present their Quicket ticket as proof of identity in order to claim their prize.

3. The winner(s) will be announced on or around 12pm at the grand opening event at Medirite Plus Paardevlei on Saturday 25 May 2024. The winner must be in attendance and present their Quicket ticket as proof of identity in order to claim their prize. If the winner(s) cannot be found in store, a new winner(s) will be selected.

4. The competition runs from 21 May 2024 and the closing date and time is 10AM on Saturday, 25 May 2024. After this date and time, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

5. No responsibility can be accepted by Medrite Plus for entries not received for whatever reason.

6. Prizes:

1 x Medirite Plus hamper valued at R2000.00

1 x Essence & Catrice hamper valued at R1300.00

7. The Organisers are not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

8. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

9. The winner(s) agrees to accept and use the prize at their own risk.

10. Medirite Plus can not be held responsible if there are any problems with the product.

11. Two winners will be chosen at random, by lucky draw, from all entries received and verified by the Organisers and/or its agents. It will still be at the Organiser’s discretion to re-select the final winner(s), should the pre-selected winner(s) not have adhered to all of the entry mechanics.

12. If a suitable candidate(s), who adhered to all entry mechanics, can’t be found, a new winner(s) will be selected until a suitable candidate(s) is found.

13. Any person who has not yet attained the age of maturity should be duly assisted by a parent or legal guardian in entering this competition and/or using any prize.

14. The Organisers reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify an entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions of entry or who tampers with the entry process or who is in breach of these terms and conditions. Failure by the Organisers to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

15. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at its sole discretion and at any time. Such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting.

16. By entering the competition and/or booking a ticket to the Grand Opening of Medirite Plus Paardevlei via Quicket, all entrants and the winner(s) agree to indemnify the Organisers, its associated companies and employees, directors, members, partners, agents, suppliers and/or consultants and associated companies of Medirite Plus, against any costs, damages, liability, penalties or claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of, and their participation in the competition.

17. By entering the competition and/or booking at ticket to the Grand Opening of Medirite Plus Paardevlei via Quicket, all entrants and prize winners agree to be bound by terms and conditions of the competition, which will be interpreted by the Organisers in their sole, absolute and unfettered discretion.

18. The Organisers will notify the winner(s) when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.

19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by South African law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

20. The winner(s) agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner(s) or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Quicket, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Organisers and not to any other party.

22. The Organisers’ decision as to those able to take part and selection of the winner(s) is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.

23. The Organisers also reserve the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
