GETTING HANDS-ON WITH THE NEW INITIAL IQ LUSTRE PASTES ONE AND IQ ONE SQIN PORCELAIN SYSTEM
Wrights proudly presents an exclusive opportunity for participants to delve into the latest advancements in dental technology. This session offers insights into the enhanced GC Initial IQ ONE SQIN and its seamless integration with GC Spectrum and GC Lustre Paste One systems, for daily applications. Additionally, participants will master the techniques for applying Micro-layering porcelains onto both zirconium & Lisi Press.
Delegates please bring your micro-motor or handpiece, burs, instruments, ceramic pallets, and brushes.
OBJECTIVES
- Explain and demonstrate all components of the new IQ LUSTRE PASTES ONE system and spectrum stains, highlighting improvements from the previous version.
- Introduce the IQ ONE SQIN Micro-layering porcelain system.
- Demonstrate the use of stains to customize a milled zirconium crown.
- Provide explanations on firing temperatures for all procedures.
- Complete the crown using the GC Initial LUSTRE PASTES ONE system as well as the GC Initial ONE SQIN micro-layering porcelain powders.
- Discuss the possibilities and techniques for further adjustments to surface texture and lustre.
COURSE PRESENTER
Barry Wood
Barry completed his Diploma in Dental Technology at Technikon Witwatersrand in 1985. In 2001 he had the opportunity to extend his qualification to a B Tech degree at Pretoria University of Technology. He established his own crown and bridge lab in Johannesburg in 1990, a specialist aesthetic laboratory, Image Dental Ceramics. In 1996 Barry was the winner of the Willi Geller Competition (Creation Surprise). This accelerated his career and provided a gateway to learning from international labs. Following on from this, he was proudly invited to become a member of the International Oral Design Group. In addition, Barry is a proud member of Study Group 1. Barry’s philosophy is based on working closely with his dentists to achieve high levels of aesthetic excellence. He uses both digital and analogue variations in his daily work to achieve the precise execution of any work he does. In the past 35 years, Barry has studied and worked with professionals in the field and has participated in leading courses and conferences. He has presented hands on courses and lectured both locally and internationally.
