Water is life! Creating water resilience, creates security for your household, your garden and the local ecosystem as a whole. With the water crises in the Western Cape, the time to prepare and equip yourself is now!
 
With the rainy season on it's way, it is time to prepare to catch and store every drop of rain possible (from your roof as well as in your landscape). We will also be exploring how to recycle your grey water to maximise water effeciency futher.
 
In this workshop you can expect to learn the following:
-How to catch and store every drop of water that lands on your roof, and property.
-How to build your own grey water system, that can be linked into an irrigation system. Both passive and pressurised systems will be explored, as well as what cleaning and cosmetic products are available that will be friendly on the soil and plants in your garden.
-Storage Solutions.
-Catching and storing water in your soil.
 
This workshop is part 2 of our series, 'Practical Sustainabilty", exploring steps you can take to live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
 
The cost of this workshop is R350 per person. This includes the following:
-Course content booklet, including plans and designs for all above mentioned water systems.
-A vegeterian lunch, paired with the delicious Lithos Blanc de Noir.
 
A kit including all materials needed to build your own grey water system can be ordered as an optional extra. Please contact us if you would like more info.
