? SHOCKWAVE - Solartech Records

Shockwave consists of long-time friends Niel Kirsten and Ronald de Stadler. Both being musicians for well over a decade they discovered Psychedelic Trance parties in early 1999, but it was only after being inspired by a Solar Eclipse festival in the remote wilderness of Southern Africa during 2002 that the duo decided to produce their own brand of Full-on Psychedelic Trance. During 2005 Shockwave decided to relocate to Cape town, the Psychedelic Trance Capital of South Africa and after many years of refining their sound they've recently exploded onto the scene taking dance floors by storm all across the country.
To date they have played alongside artists such as Artifakt, Absolum, Shift, Cosmosis, OOOD, The Commercial Hippies, Burn in Noise, Phyx, Rabdom L, Chabunk, Static Flow ,Bliss ,Waio, Corona, Broken Toy, SynSun as well as dj’s such as Bruce, Gandalf, Regan, Jos, Sterealkey, Mac and many more. In 2011 Shockwave signed with Solar Tech Records in Germany and have since been hard at work in the studio producing a collaboration with M-klome , a remix of Basic vs Bliss and also various singles. Production on their début EP is also under-way and is due for release on Solar Tech Records later in 2012.
Shockwave is music can be described as an euphoric journey into the psychedelic experience filled with powerful baselines , highly energetic rhythms and soaring atmospheres that will keep any dance floor grooving. So be sure not to miss the point of impact when Shockwave hits a dance floor near you.

HighStyle first got into the scene at the end of 2006 and was completely hooked. Immediately wanting to know how to make the music. He sat watching his friends for 2 years, trying to understand the science behind it, practicing on friends computers, when he could . He then began DJ’ing and slowly throwing in his own tracks for a couple years, as well as throwing the Free Illegal Gathering Parties in Cape Town, as well as various other squat parties in the mountains in 2008. Later to join up with the Psybliminal records crew, who had been supporting the parties and the underground scene since the beginning.
Inspired by the darker sounds coming from Europe and the Noisy Radical parties done by Free Radical records Noise Poison, Bom Shanka, he began his solo project. he’s other inspirations come from Peak records, Wildthings and Looney Moon records. He now runs a music label called Ritual records, with hysteria and Glitch. Highstyle released his début album titled What comes down must go Up in 2012 on ritual and then an E.P. titled Technology Vibrations later that year on Recrystalize records a UK based label as well as releasing on numerous other labels with single tracks on VA compilations. His new Album is out titled “Freestyler”
He recently jumped on board with the Zulutunes boys from Johannesburg, who he now plays for as well as his own, Ritual records. This young and talented producer progressed into his own personal production. He has shown Cape Town and South Africa His Dark, Twisted And high energy dancing pulse.
