After a nine year career, four albums and receiving six (6) South African Music Award (SAMA) nominations by 2012 including Best Female Artist: Josie Field has had one of the more interesting journeys through the South African music landscape.
Her signature sound is a potent mix of lyricism and fire, heart-felt issues and tender constructions. She has a unique voice as well as vocal delivery style that sets her apart from the mainstream pop princesses of the music world.
We're incredibly proud at STFD to be hosting Josie for one of her shows on the Cape Town leg of her tour.
Joining her on the evening, as per Josie's request will be STFD's very own songwriting genius Jon Shaban. For those of you that have seen Jon perform in these settings, know all too well just how incredibly his songs and lyrics translate in these environments.
Please bring your own drinks and snacks for the evening, this is someone's lounge after all :-)
Doors will open at 7pm and Jon will open the proceedings at 8pm.
