Soberland is having a FUNDRAISER!!!

Join us in Muizenberg at Muiz Kitchen on Saturday 13th April from 10 am to 4 pm

You can look forward to a yoga class, sound journey, art exhibition, costume making, musical performances, DJs, a flow arts workshop and games with some surprise giveaways!

R100 cover at the door

R50 if you bring things to contribute to the costume making table

Arrive early and be ready to enjoy the freshly squeezed juices and wholesome hearty seasonal meals with Muiz Kitchen.

Muiz Kitchen began during lockdown, feeding 200 people daily, and remains volunteer-based, as well as supports our local economy with its ethical co-op shop.

Soberland is coming to AfrikaBurn this year as our beloved Bongi (Nokubonga) is determined to have a sober camp at the heart of AfrikaBurn! Why? Because our community is calling for sober spaces and safe places for people wanting a like-minded community.

Bongi herself is a bit of a local hero as she built her relationship with AfrikaBurn from living on the street to building her way up to run the office and front desk at the AfrikaBurn HQ. She is a motivational speaker and motivates people to rise up to the occasion and be their best selves. She is also a huge help and a total ROCK at the AfrikaBurn Volunteer Days. So, you can expect to see the Volunteer Team there in full force, sparkly smiles, glam and high spirits!
