The Scullery Quintet

ABOUT

The Scullery Quintet is a new crossover ensemble that features a unique blend of the classic string quartet sound accompanied by jazz rhythm section.The Quintet are coming to Cape Town to present an all new program at this special concert hosted by the Commons in Muizenberg. The program will feature new and reimagined arrangements of existing works by some of the worlds finest composers from across the musical spectrum. ‘Potluck’ is the title of their debut CD release that will available at this special concert. Audiences can expect to hear reimagined arrangements of works that range from Dvorák, Beethoven, Pat Metheny, Hugh Masekela to Radiohead.
