The Curious Exchange is an interview-style, interactive (yes, that means you can get involved) gathering on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, where we get to laugh, learn and connect over topics that can support us in living happier, healthier more conscious lives - from people who are really passionate about them.
THIS EVENT:
integrative medicine + functional mushrooms
Meet Dr Leah Murray, who after years of working in emergency medicine and trauma units in SA and the UK, developed a deep desire to learn about preventative medicine and how people can look after their health in a less toxic, safer, effective way. She completed her Integrative Medicine training in 2013 at Stellenbosch under Dr B. Brom and helped launch SASIM (South Africa Society of Integrative Medicine).
Meet Peter Herrmann, adventurous mycelia-seeker, citizen-scientist and co-founder of Harmonic Mycology - purveyor and producer of high-quality functional mushroom supplements like lion's mane, reishi, cordyceps and more. We'll hear more about his belief that through a deeper relationship with fungi, we may be able to develop creative sustainable solutions for our health, society and environment.
