ABOUT
World of Dance is the largest International Urban Dance Competition with focus on the art of street dancing and today’s new aged choreography. World of Dance is the largest touring event that embraces Urban Dance and Lifestyle. Hundreds of participants with the country’s top dance teams, and thousands of spectators will partake in a performance festival setting, awarding today’s top dancers with the most prestigious acknowledgements. Dancers will be chosen from all around South Africa to participate in the Cape Town Qualifiers to be held at Camps Bay High School on 14 April 2024, and top dancers from there could be chosen to participate in the World Championships to be held in California, USA, in July 2024.
The 2024 World of Dance Tour promises to deliver an unparalleled experience to both participants and spectators in an effort to build a reputation as the Nation's authority in Urban Dance Culture. At the World of Dance South Africa Qualifiers, as you have come to expect, you will see South Africa's best crews and dancers competing for the title of World of Dance South Africa Champions, and to qualify for the World of Dance Finals in 2024! The World of Dance South Africa Qualifier will follow the same format as the World of Dance TV show on NBC, this means that there are new division categories. WE’VE ADDED A WHOLE NEW CATEGORY IN WHICH DANCERS CAN SHOWCASE THEIR SKILLS AS A SOLO ACT, A DUO, A TRIO OR A QUARTET!
