ABOUT

As we move into Autumn, the hustle and bustle of summer slowly relaxes into a gentle flow and rhythm of a new year. And what better way to celebrate that than with gorgeous music! Our anchor for the concert is The Moldau, composed by Bedrich Smetana, a tone poem of the majestic river of the same name that runs through the Czech Republic. This incredible symphonic work has been re-imagined for four hands piano, and will be performed by Janette Rottcher and Lizanne Barnard. The rest of the concert is a perfect study of the ebb and flow of stunning music, from the gentle undulation of Elaine Hagenberg's I will be a child of peace, performed by the NHS Bel Canto Choir, to the torrent of emotion in Jake Runestad's Let my love be heard, performed by the Nocoré Ensemble.
