ART AFRICA invites you to join LIZETTE CHIRRIME at her first artistic fashion show in Cape Town entitled ‘REMEMBER, YOU ARE UNIQUE’. This event is the first presentation by ART AFRICA of their COMMUNITY Residency programme in Cape Town.

Reflecting on her unique identity her latest range combines a wide selection of African fabrics with designs inspired by her spiritual and personal life journeys. Chirrime also presents handmade jewellery pieces combining metal and hand crafted indigenous woods from Mozambique.

The pieces are intended to empower African people – encouraging African men and women to embrace their uniqueness – and through her clothing she presents an exciting and thought-provoking alternative to Western and Eurocentric fashion.  

In keeping with her vision Chirrime has chosen artists, musicians, celebrities and everyday people as models for the fashion show including:
