Come experience the fresh air and game at the reserve. Dronfield has the added draw card of a vulture hide for visitors to see the white-backed vulture up close. There is a sizeable population of these birds in the reserve.

·           Scholars & above 60 years = R180

·           2025 License required or

·           Temporary license @ R70 (Addition R5 Admin fee will be added at check out)

·           Medals to all finishers

·           Cut-off time = 03:00

·           Age restriction = 16 years

MANUAL ENTRIES / LATE ENTRIES:

On Friday 5 September 2025 at Diamantveld High School, Markgraaff Hall, Voortrekker Street and race pack collection

(An additional R30 administration fee for manual entries will be charged)

REGISTRATION: 

·         Friday 5 September 2025 at Hoërskool Diamantveld, Markgraaff Hall, Voortrekker Street, Kimberley between 16:30 – 19:00 

·          Present your ID or Quicket registration ticket at collection. If you cannot collect

           it yourself, provide a letter of request with your ID & contact number

·         Saturday 06/09/2025 between 07:00 - 07:45 at DRONFIELD NATURE

         RESERVE, CONFERENCE CENTRE (N12 about 15km on the Johannesburg

          Road) ONLY MANUAL ENTRIES & RACE PACK COLLECTIONS FROM RUNNERS OUTSIDE

          KIMBERLEY will be accepted on Race Day between 07:00 – 07:45

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Race starts at @ 08:00

Prize giving function and Lucky draws @ 11:15

PRIZE MONEY FOR 16KM+ ONLY -

1st M/F = R500

2nd M/F = R400

3rd M/F = R300

·           Ablution facilities at the race

·           Bring a camp chair

·           Refreshments will be on sale

·           Water point at the finish

·          Two permanent license numbers must be visible on the front and back OR One temporary license number must be visible on the front. Age tags must be visible and on the correct place

Information for race results. All forms or race tags will be shredded 4 weeks  

after the event. You also hereby agree to give consent to be photographed at

the event and photos to be shared on social media and newspapers. 

 Races run under rules of AGW, ASA & WA – NO earphones allowed
