After being closed for such a long time, the reserve has finally re-opened!

And we cant wait to take you there!

What awaits you: a number of beautiful waterfalls, amazing scenery, lovely view sites, beautiful picninc/braai area (bring your own food and drinks if you would like to stay after the hike)

What to bring:

hiking boots/shoes, water or cold drinks. a backpack. Wtaer/hydration, snacks.

A walking stick is highly recommended for the longer hike. There will be a few water crossing and it is a great help!

The hike:

2 options:

1:

Distance: appr. 3-5 km

Duration: 2 hours

Grading:

Regular hiker: Grade 1

Casual hiker: Grade 2

2:

Distance: appr. 10-12 km

Duration: 5 hours

Grading:

Regular hiker: Grade 2.5

Casual hiker: Grade 3.5

Grading Of Hikes:

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required

Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness

Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable

Grade 4 Strenuous. Physical fitness essential

Grade 5 Very strenuous - high level of physical fitness essential
