ABOUT
The KZN Youth Orchestra will be performing at Ashton College, Grace Hall on Sunday, 10 March, 11:30 to 12:30 am.
The orchestra comprises 60 young musicians from all around KZN province.
The hour-long concert will be an exciting one with music encompassing a variety of genres. Ashton College's Senior College and Foundation Phase Choirs and a few young musicians will have the pleasure of performing alongside the KZNYO for selected items. There will be pieces from the Romantic period, movies and musicals and the concert is excellent family entertainment. Included in the programme are selections from ‘Swan Lake’, ‘Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves’, ‘Les Miserable’, and ‘Micasa’, and the ever popular ‘Sweet Caroline’ to name a few.
Tickets are R100 for adults and R80 for students and pensioners.

Conducted by Lyk Temmingh and presented by Cathy Peacock, the concert will send you off with a tune in your hearts. Come and support the youngsters from Ashton College and be enthralled by the orchestral delights of the KZNYO.
