Join Marianne Thamm for an afternoon of “performance journalism” and her acclaimed show "Round of Applause - South Africa Still Standing".

What survived more than 15 years of state capture? What did we do right and what does 2024 hold for the country. Come and loadshed your worries and laugh through the white knuckle ride. Marianne is an associate editor with the Daily Maverick and has worked as a journalist in South Africa for over 40 years.

Round of Applause - South Africa Still Standing returns to the Baxter in April for a three week run after performing at the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees in March.

This is a once-off show happening on 21 March 2024 for those who might not be able to make other performances.
