The We; the People Walk serves as a platform for collective reflection, dialogue, and commitment to the enduring values of South Africa's Constitutional Democracy, particularly centered around the protection and promotion of human rights. Through engaging activities and discussions, the symbolic 5 km walk aims to foster unity among diverse sectors of society, ignite meaningful conversations about the challenges and triumphs of the past two decades, and inspire collaborative action towards a more just and inclusive future.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the start time of the We, the People Walk has been rescheduled from 7 am to 11 am on March 24th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Despite the change, the walk promises to be as enjoyable and inspiring as anticipated as the day is sure to be a fun-filled day with community, connection, and celebration! The walk promises to be just as enjoyable and inspiring as anticipated. In addition to the walk, we're thrilled to announce that we have organized a program brimming with music, a maker’s market, and various activations for you to relish. We encourage you to bring along your family and friends to partake in this enriching experience together.
