ABOUT
Arboretum is a space of study and exploration into the natural world and ourselves. Within the botanical world it is a place of different species who are planted away from their natural habitat.
With the goal to observe them in an environment away from their norm. In this light we are bringing the forest to the desert utilising aliens to weave and construct the form. This hopefully brings the feeling of being within them and basking under their shade.
In that diversity we as people can observe how we ourselves feel within an environmental reality far from our natural habitat.
We wish to bring the calm energy of a forest to a space of difference and with that observe the outcome that comes from that merge.
Come Dive with us into a fantastical bash with us at a quirky fundraiser celebrating Arboretum, an artwork showcasing @afrikaburn2024.
