ABOUT
Hand-spin yarn from merino wool.
Learn grasped and semi-grasped spinning on a medieval-style spindle with a small, centre-weighted whorl, which can be done with or without a distaff.
Distaffs will be available to try out. Wool fibre will be provided.
Please note entry into Kirstenbosch not included in ticket price but participants only pay R60 student entrance fee on presentation of their Quicket booking ticket.
