ABOUT
Ceramics Southern Africa Western Cape region hosts the Rondebosch Potters' Market. An immense variety of craft potters and ceramicists from CSA gather at this market to sell anything and all things pottery related. A family friendly market at the Rondebosch Park with awesome food stalls.
CSA members can book your traders permit here. Please make sure your membership is up to date.
Traders will be allowed to set up from 5h30 am. Present your digital Quicket traders permit on your phone to the security guard at the gate to be allowed entry. Please note that you will not need your car license disc number this year.
Please collect your printed Quicket traders permit at the CSA WC tent between 7h00am and 8h00am. (Ask for Jodi).
Bring your donated piece for the Tombola when collecting your tickets. Proceeds for sales will go to the CSA Benevolent Fund.
Display your ticket in an easily visible place on your stand to be ready for registration from 8:30am.
Having this clearly displayed on your stand makes it easier and quicker for organisers to check and control without disturbing you during sales.
The market will run from 8am to 3pm.

LOCATION
5.30am - boom will open for cars (red arrow on map). Only vehicles with a Quicket traders permit will be allowed park access. Please present your digital Quicket tradiers permit on your phone to the security guard at the gate to be allowed entry. Please note that you will not need your car license disc number this year.
By 7.45am - all cars must be removed from the park and parked at the public parking next to Sandown Road or further down the road to ensure that we leave plenty of parking for the public close to the park. We will let you know if parking will be available at Rondebosch Preparatory School for this Potters' Market.
Between 7am and 8am collect your printed Quicket traders permit at the CSA WC tent (see above image - white dot in circle 2). Ask for Jodi. Bring your donated piece for the Tombola when collecting your tickets. Proceeds of sales go to the CSA_WC Benevolent Fund.
8am – All traders must be ready for trading.
From 8h30am - Please display your Quicket printed traders permit in an easily visible place on your stand to be ready for registration.
8am to 3pm - The market is officially open from 8am to 3pm. Traders are required to continue trading until the advertised closing time.
3pm – The boom will open for cars to enter the park to load work / stands. After trading please clean your space and take your rubbish home.

TABLE RULES
Traders - please be kind to all traders, especially first time traders. Let’s all feel welcome and assist each other when we can.
First come, first serve - no reserving of places on behalf of other traders. No chasing of traders from their spots. If they were there before you, you will need to find a new spot.
Stands to set up in 3 circles (see map - location tab) Traders are to face inwards.
Inside the circles - traders can set up inside the circle if necessary.
Circulation - leave space at sensible points for people to move through.
Seconds - Display “seconds” goods clearly to avoid misunderstandings.
No card facilities will be provided by CSA WC. Please provide your own.
Park - No nails or any other damage to trees and no fires on the sight.
Wind - Please ensure your stands and ceramics are secured in the event of gusts.
Rain or shine - The Potters’ Market at Rondebosch goes ahead whatever the weather.
Leave no trace - After trading please clean your space and take your rubbish home.
CSA WC tent - Please don’t set up on the CSA WC spot (indicated by a white dot on the map - circle number 2 - location tab)

TOMBOLA STAND
A friendly reminder to traders old and new!
The Tombola table at the CSA WC tent is a favourite of many of the regulars at the Rondebosch Potters’ Market. It is part of the Potters’ Market tradition and we are very grateful to all traders who generously contribute towards the Tombola table.
Please bring your ceramic piece/s and business card to the Tombola table at the CSA WC tent between 7am and 8am and you can collect your printed Quicket traders permit at the same time :)
PERMITS
The Quicket traders permit exists to ensure all vendors have paid and have a valid permit for their stand.
Present your digital Quicket traders permit on your phone to the security guard at the gate to be allowed entry. Please note that you will not need your car license disc number this year. The Rondebosch Park gate will open at 05h30am.
Collect your printed Quicket traders permit at the CSA WC tent (see map - location tab) between 7am and 8am. Ask for Jodi.
Display it in an easily visible place on your stand to be ready for registration from 8h30am.
