ABOUT

THE FILM FESTIVAL


The Voice of the Architect is an innovative concept whose goal is to shine a spotlight on award winning South African Architecture and give the hungry people of South Africa the chance to share in their enthusiasm for South African Design. 2023 being the third year of this festival with 4 short films to feast one's eye upon and have a glass of vino.

The purpose of this event is to celebrate and to create a platform for community building within the Architectural circles, to created public awareness towards those engaging with Architects, as well as allow for practice exposure to the firms who have been producing these noteworthy works.


THE CONTENT

4 short films will be a series of 25min long documentaries showcasing buildings in Johannesburg which have recently won awards in the year 2021 as well as the new House Francois Premiering for the first time!

Date: Friday, 15 March 2024

Time: 6:00-8:30pm

Format: Theatre screening

Place: The Athenaeum Little fort theatre, 7 Belmont Terrace, Central 6001 Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Dress Code: Smart Casual, Suit and sneakers

Wine and light snacks will be available on the night - in additional to the complimentary stuff, a cash bar will be set up for top ups :)


SECURITY

Car guards will be provided for all parking on the night as well as security personal around the theatre.
