Jabulile Majola, Sky Dladla & Tessi Nandi - Live at the Pink Room

Quiet Life Co invites you to immerse yourself in an evening of pan-African folk & soul music at The Pink Room, Gorgeous George. The night will feature African-folk performer Sky Dladla, alongside Cape Town favourite Jabulile Majola and an exciting new talent Tessi Nandi as they take us on a ride across the continent and their own musical styles.

Tessi Nandi:

Durban born, Mbombela raised, 18-year-old Tessi Nandi is a multifaceted rising musical talent. As a multi-instrumentalist, she's skilled in electric guitar, ukulele, piano, and bass guitar, but it's her honeycomb voice that cuts through it all with a maturity far beyond her years. Nandi views music not just as a collection of notes, but as a language that communicates emotions and connects people deeply. Her eclectic style, blending RnB, Pop, and Jazz, capture the essence of life's fleeting moments and heartfelt reflections.

Sky Dladla

Sky Dladla is an African instrumentalist, a percussionist, marimba maker, a songwriter, singer and bow instrument maker from Gugulethu in Cape town, South Africa. Sky’s mixes traditional instrumentation with modern songwriting, delivering a world class performance unlike any you've seen before.

Jabulile Majola:

Hailing from Greytown, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Jabulile Majola, a writer and musician based in Cape Town, uses music to share his message of hope. Informed by a personal journey of resilience and inspiration, Jabulile was raised in a Christian children's home along side 26 siblings. Majola uses music and writing to navigate life's complexities. With a profound desire to connect with others, his work encapsulates the human experience, encouraging introspection and empathy.
