In 2023, President Yoweri Museveni signed an anti-homosexual law that amounts to death threats, leaving queers in constant fear of their lives. The short film is a personal account that tells the story of growing up in Uganda, while navigating sexuality and identity in a homophobic country. The film transmutes the anger and need to be heard and seen into the activism and a commitment to a collect articulation of African Queerness and resilience.
