Run the Vines Summer of Chenin at Lievland

As 2024 has kicked off at a running pace and the South African wine industry hits its 365-year milestone birthday, we are hosting the first of many events this year.

For the first time, we are collaborating with Run the Vines to host a trail run and Summer of Chenin at Lievland on Saturday 24th February. 

Run the Vines was established in 2013 and has amassed a huge following in and around the Cape Winelands and beyond. They meet each month at a wine estate so you may have already done a trail run in the past. 

There will be a 5km and 10km run followed by a Summer of Chenin Blanc festival in the old cellar which has been completely transformed into the charming new Lievland Cafe. 

We will have 20 producers pouring their exceptional Chenin Blancs so you are welcome to wander around, taste, and relax under the trees sipping some of South Africa's finest Chenins and sampling the delicious food served by Lievland Cafe in the tent.
