JANUARY'S THOUGHT... Who has the power to transform South Africa's energy future?
In countries around the world, we are seeing a shift in how energy is generated – from what, by whom, as well as how it is distributed and consumed. And changes in the structure of electrical power distribution are resulting in changes in social, political and economic power too, presenting opportunities to promote greater democracy and equity through this transformation. And here in South Africa, Eskom's enduring dominance and nuclear future are being challenged from the ground up by decentralised renewable energy generation.
But... where this is leading? Who will benefit? We require bold citizen-led answers...

Led by a thought leader on a topic related to social, environmental, or behavioural change, the evening will be led by a thought leader, following by a relaxed discussion. It is a chance to meet like-minded individuals to exchange and challenge ideas, and collaborate.
