Come hear his story about a young boy who discovered his father’s record collection and went on a journey of awakening to navigate and cement his own sound in the music world!

Mark Haze and his band pay tribute to the classic rock era and the songs that shaped the world of Rock n’ Roll for decades to come, to the greats and his music heroes, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Queen, Deep Purple, Guns & Roses, Elvis Presley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pink Floyd, Journey and many many more!

Mark hails from Goodwood, Cape Town and says “Our house was always filled with music. My parents say that when I was 2 years old they would find me standing in front of the Hi-Fi singing at the top of my lungs to Bruce Springsteen, Queen, and DuranDuran. Even then, I loved performing in front of people.”

Throughout his formative years, Mark played and sang with various bands. He is well known as the popular runner-up in SA Idols 2011. He was picked up for a recording contract with Universal Records and is playing shows all over the country as well as across the borders with his band.

Mark says “I have had the opportunity to perform alongside some of the world’s greatest musicians as well as meet people from all over the world. The variety in the shows that I am able to do keeps me on my toes and I am very excited at every opportunity that continues to come my way. Throughout everything I’ve gone through and will continue to go through, I know that I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love to do and have always dreamed of doing every day. It’s because of this, that I perform every show as if it was my last!” Mark was the official support acts for Rock ‘n Roll legends Bon Jovi on their 2013 World Tour.

Masters of Rock features a full 5-piece band ready to deliver those classic stage guitar solos coupled with the long hair and leather jackets tied in with amazing vocals.
