A bit of background on our band – The name of the band is “The Bitou River Band” and is based in Plettenberg Bay. 

We are a six piece band consisting of Donovan on drums and vocals, Reinhardt on bass , Russ on vocals and rhythm guitar, Wilmie on vocals and keyboards, Barries on keys and backing vocals, and Chris on lead /rhythm guitar and backing vocals . 

The band has , over the years successfully performed a number of shows at venues such as the Barnyard in Plett, White House in Plett , Fancourt in George, Barringtons in Plett, the Shed in Sedgefield to name some of the shows done.

The band has a well rounded , powerful and complete sound and projects a lot of energy with its songs and has always been very well received by audiences.

The band is fortunate to have 3 extremely good vocalists(2 males and one female) which allows it cover a wide range of music.

One of our originals, Aces, was featured on Algoa FM a couple of months ago.

Our set lists are comprised of rock and prog rock covers from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with a few of our own compositions amongst them. 

Songs such as Come Together , All right Now , Gold Dust Woman, Sara , Because the Night, Aces , Kiss the Night, All along the Watchtower , In the Air tonight, Run, Get Back,Chasing Cars, Rolling in the Deep, Johnny B Goode,Comfortably Numb , Wish you Were here , While my guitar gently weeps .
