Get ready to pedal for a purpose at The Grove Primary School's exciting cycle event, happening at the renowned Killarney Race Track! This thrilling fundraiser promises a day filled with fun, laughter, and of course, plenty of cycling excitement. 

Event Highlights:

Ride to Your Heart's Content:

• Participants can challenge themselves to ride up to 10 laps on the smooth and exhilarating Killarney Race Track.
• Laps begin at 20-minute intervals from 9:20 am, giving everyone the flexibility to choose how many laps they want to conquer.

Lap Themes for Added Fun:

• Each lap will have a unique theme, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event. Get ready to showcase your creativity and spirit with themes like 'Best Dressed' and 'Most unique bike.'

Safety First:

• The track is not only fun but also safe, as there are no cars allowed during the event. Helmets are compulsory for all participants, ensuring a secure and enjoyable cycling experience.

Participation is the Key:

• The primary objective for riders is to participate and have a great time. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, this event is for everyone!
• This event is open to all friends and family (you don't have to attend the school to join in)

Ideal CT Cycle Tour Training

• For those preparing for the CT Cycle Tour, our event provides an excellent training ride. Complete all 10 laps, and you'll conquer a total distance of 32km, giving you the perfect boost for the upcoming challenge.

What are we fundraising for?

• This cycle event is dedicated to raising funds for a brand-new Grade R building at The Grove Primary School. Your participation and support will directly contribute to creating a better learning environment for our youngest students

Inclusive Participation for All Grove Learners and Guardians!

• At The Grove Primary School, we believe in inclusivity and want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to join our Fun Cycle Event at Killarney Race Track. If you're a Grove learner or guardian facing financial constraints, don't worry – we've got you covered!
• Simply send an email to [email protected] to request an exemption from the entry fee and we will consider your request. We understand that circumstances vary, and we are committed to making this event accessible to all members of our school community.

Refunds and cancellations

• As a fundraising event we hope to run this event despite any adverse weather conditions, however if the event is cancelled you may apply for a refund within 14 days of the event by emailing [email protected].

Registration closes

• Registration for tickets closes on the 28/02/2024

Participation at own risk

• You agree to indemnify the service providers of The Grove Track Cycle Challenge and The Grove Primary, from and against, any loss, damage, injury, disability, death, expense, cost or liability.
