VELD AND SEA FIRE FUNDRAISER

The Deep South experienced a dramatic and unexpected end to the year with wild fires sweeping through the dry summer landscape. We found ourselves in the middle of the chaos but with lots of effort, effective holistic land management and by the grace of nature, most of the structures on the farm, all the animals and humans were safe. Unfortunately, despite having done our best to minimise damages, we’ve still had to do a lot of repairs and replacement on the nursery structures, greenhouses, irrigation systems and water pipes around the farm as well as having lost a lot of tree seedlings, succulents and stock plants in the nursery.
In reverence for this ecological cycle and the celebration of the emerging of new life from the ashes, we'd like to invite you to enjoy the Veld and Sea space at our post-fire fundraiser to help us with our repairs and rebuild of the nursery space. We'll have live music and DJs keeping us moving and grooving, botanical mocktails and complimentary wines sponsored by Trizanne Wines and Dawn Patrol, wild flavour tacos and a selection of indigenous plants for sale from the Good Hope Garden Nursery. We hope this day will be a chance for our community to gather and enjoy a beautiful Sunday summer afternoon, connect, dance and relax in the green oasis of Veld and Sea, nestled in the burnt post-fire landscape.
