8am Umlalazi Nature Reserve Boat Launch Site (picnic site)

What to bring:

hiking boots/shoes, water or cold drinks, and a backpack to carry all that. cap, sunglasses and sunblock.

The hike:

appr. 10km

Difficulty: Casual hiker: Grade 2 - regular hiker: Grade 1 (mostly flat forest& dune walk)

Duration: 3-4 hours

We will visit the mangroves, the raphia palm forest (national monument and the home of the very elusive palm nut vulture!), the abandoned railway station, the Siyaya River bridge, Doggie BEach, a private beach and some beautiful forest trails and lagoons.

This is in exclusive event so tickets are limited.

Please note that we will need 10 confirmed & paid bookings to go ahead with this event. 

If quote is not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed.

NO REFUND OR CREDIT IF YOU ARE A NO SHOW!

If weather is bad, event will be re-scheduled and new date OR refund will be given.

There is an additional R40 per person payable at the gate when entering the reserve (free with rhino card)
