Hidden gem of Hillcrest!!!!
If you want to experience the wild side of Hillcrest and enjoy an outdoor adventure, then this is where you should be!!!
At a sprawling 30-plus hectare, Morewood Farm and Activity Centre in Hillcrest is hard to hide. However, its rambling landscape of dense forest, grassland and meandering river feels like a wild paradise retreat conveniently close to the hustle and bustle of central Hillcrest.
Morewood Farm has plenty to offer the outdoor enthusiast. Three well-marked and carefully tended hiking and running trails provide a variety of lengths and challenges, so there's something for everyone. The routes wind through forests and grasslands, follow along the river and waterfalls and pass an old stone farm and four-storey treehouse, a dam, an old forgotten stone well,etc So you're guaranteed a scenic stroll.

What to bring: Shoes with good grips (hiking boots, takkies)
snacks, water or cold drinks, a backpack.
Spaces are limited!
Please note that this event is going ahead whether it rains or shines and will only be cancelled/postponed under extreme conditions (extreme heat/cold, hail or heavy rain). Bring a rain coat. a little bit of rain wont hurt anyone! and the bugs will stay away. ;-)

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required
Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness
Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable
