We are going back to the super awesome Mqeku Picnic Site for a day filled with adventure and fun!

This place is a real hidden gem tucked away in the Valley Of 1000 Hills on the banks of the Mqeku river.

Whats on offer:

Hiking - Picnicking - Braaing - Swimming - Tubing - Bird watching - 4x4ing (bring your own) and the list is endless!!!!

Time & place to meet:

7am Pot & Kettle in Botha's Hill (to drive in a convoy from there)

Cost:

Adults: R399pp

Kids (U13): R299pp

Including trasnport from Durban: R699pp

What is included:

-Entry fee to picnic site

-Use of all facilities

-Braai (bring your own meat)

-Tube hire

-Hiking and private guide

-Picnic blankets

-Large awning (for shade)

-Awesome pictures and videos

What to bring:

hiking boots/shoes (if you are planning to hike),sunglasses, cap, sunblock, towel, swimwear and dry clothes (if you are planning on swimming or tubing), your own food and drinks (cooler boxes allowed)

We will be meeting outside Pot&Kettle at 7am and will drive in a convoy to our destination (cars with low ground clearance are not recommended for this trip).

At 3pm we will all pack up and drive back in convoy.

Please note that driving to the site on your own is not recommended as the road is long, dusty and windy. and it is very easy to get lost.

We have 2 hikes on offer: 1: Easy 3km hike along the river OR a diffcult (500m elevation) 7km hike in the mountains (takes about 3 hours to complete)

Only 20 tickets available.

Please note that we will need 10 confirmed & paid bookings to go ahead with this event. payment is non-refundale if you are a no show.

If weather is bad, event will be re-scheduled.

Families are welcome - please note that children must be accompanied by an adult that participates in the activies (in other words: you need to look after your children)
