Interested in exploring your creative side?
Come paint and sip a glass of wine with Dion Cupido in a small group for a 90-minute session playing with colour and mark making looking into Dion's process in developing his work.
Explore a different approach to expressing your inner creativity and finding your inspiration.
The session will include a hands on approach to creating your authentic work of art, starting with a practical exercise in doodling(automatic writing) with charcoal, then moving along to working on a blank primed unframed canvas with acrylic paint, which can be taken home at the end of the session.
Each individual will be provided with a glass of wine, charcoal, acrylic paint and brushes to work with during the session.

WHO IS DION CUPIDO
He talent has been recognised and purchased by foreign and local celebrities alike such as Tina Knowles (Beyonce's mom) and Kim Engelbrecht as well as International art collectors.
Dion is a South African self taught artist, born in 1973 and discovered his ablity for art in the 90's. He grew up in Mitchell's Plain and his first art works was exhibited in 1998. He joined Arts and Media Access Centre(AMAC). Dion's work is influenced by street art and has elements of graffiti and markings which can be seen as another form of tagging as indicated in an article compiled by Latitudes.online. Throughout Dion career he has participated in various solo & group exhibitions, Truworths AMAC Academy of Visual Arts Award, Sanlam competitions, and the FNB Art Fairs Cape Town and Johanesburg, Spier Arts Trust and Nando's to name a few.
Dion currently exhibits with World Art Gallery in Cape Town and Artyli Gallery in Sandton.
