Investor, Coach and Entrepreneur

Warren is a husband, father, investor, coach and entrepreneur who is passionate about property investment and believes property is the ideal vehicle for wealth creation. He is a natural leader, who is sharp minded and enterprising. He has over fifteen years of experience in property investment, property development and business management in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

He is a professional property investor and currently the Chief Financial Officer for United Kingdom Property Partners, Property Sourcing Agent for Investing North, Property Investor at We Buy Your Home, Property Coach at Freedom Through Property, Host for SA Property Investors Network and Director of Brusse Property Limited.

Warren was the Real Estate Manager and Strategy Director for DHL Supply Chain for 3,5 years. He was responsible for strategy alignment and business planning regarding real estate investments, development agreements and lease agreements. He was responsible for property developments more than R200 million (£11 million) and management of properties valued more than R1,0 billion (£55 million). He was behind many of DHL Supply Chain flagship properties within South Africa.

He has personally concluded over 40 residential property acquisitions and coached over a 100 people in property investment. He has been mentored by Harry Barclay, a residential property investor and developer in the United Kingdom. Harry Barclay previously had a buy to let portfolio more than 250 properties and now focuses solely on larger scale developments within London.

During his 14-year corporate career with DHL Supply Chain, Imperial Logistics, Ernst & Young, Colliers International and Knight Piesold, Warren fulfilled various management roles, has managed teams more than 30 people and has consulted to various multi-national executive teams for Premier Foods, Mondelez, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberley Clarke, Namibian Breweries, Kellogg’s, Anglo American, Dimension Data, British American Tobacco, TSB Sugar and Murray & Roberts.

Warren studied Civil Engineering at the University of Witwatersrand and cum lauded his masters in Engineering Management at the Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg) and completed his thesis on cost accounting.

He has a sound knowledge of construction and finance. He fully understands the importance of having an experienced and professional team in place to ensure a development project is a financial success.

It all began in 2001 with his first buy to let investment in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was absolutely “hooked”. Over the next 12 years, Warren set out purchasing properties from Sheriff auctions, refurbishing them, selling them to raise seed capital or re-financing and renting them to expand his buy to let portfolio. Warren further “speculatively” purchased vacant coastal land with a long-term view that it would escalate in capital value.

In 2013, he re-evaluated his investment strategy and realised his South African property portfolio was cash flow neutral, his vacant coastal land was “stealing” from him and he was not enabling the financial freedom of his family.

He then decided to restructure his property portfolio in South Africa through selling non-performing assets and re-financing assets with available equity. Through this restructuring and expanding his income property portfolio within the United Kingdom, Warren is now financially free and focused on helping other people and further expanding his wealth.

In 2016, Warren cofounded a private equity partnership based business focused on helping people invest in high yielding residential investments within the United Kingdom.

Warren ensures he has a balance in life and dedicates 20% of his time to his family, 30% of his time helping people through one on one property coaching and 50% of his time on expanding his property portfolio and his property related businesses.

Warren loves to travel and has travelled to 18 countries in Africa, Europe and Asia. He further enjoys playing golf, cycling, running and spending time with his children. He is an adamant Springbok supporter too!
