The official launch concert and celebration for the release of the debut album by The Lady Day Big Band.
The Lady Day Big Band is South Africa’s first all-women professional big band and was founded in 2018 as a legacy project. The collective aims to showcase the talents of professional female musicians, foster new talent, and model excellence in music created and performed by women. Join the full 22-piece band and special guests as they celebrate the release of their debut album, "Livus'umoya" on 23 February 2024 at The Star Theatre (former Fugard Theatre).
