ABOUT
Now this is something you dont often get to do! Walk with giraffes/zebras and wildebeest's!
We will be visiting the not so well known Bisley Valley Nature Reserve just outside Pmb.
This nature reserve was abandoned by the state and currently run by an awesome group of private individuals called: Friends of Bisley Valley Nature Reserve.
You will get to experience what it feels like to walk in the African Bush, track animals, visit the bird hide, watering hole, hike along the abandoned railway track, and if you are lucky, take a selfie with a giraffe!
Starting time: 7am
Bisley Valley Nature Reserve
Meeting time: 6.30am at BP Ridge Oasis (Just before Cato Ridge - N3 northbound) to drive in a convoy. you may contact us to arrange alternative meeting point!
Distance of the hike: appr. 5-10km (Longer route possible for the more advanced hikers)
Duration of the hike: 2-4 hours (this will depend on the groups pace and how far we need to walk to see wildlife)
Grading of the hike:
Casual hiker: Grade 2.
Regular hiker: Grade 1

What to bring:
snacks, water or cold drinks (minimum 1.5L per person) , a hat, sunglasses, sunblock and binoculars if you have. plus a backpack.
Walking/hiking shoes or boots.

If event is cancelled due to bad weather, it be re-scheduled and new date will be given.
