ABOUT
Our first Sit the Folk Down show of 2017 features one of South Africa's most established folk musicians, Wendy OldfieldWendy Oldfield is a multi-award winning South African singer, songwriter, and producer with a legendary musical career which began in the late 80s and continues today with constant tours of 150 shows a year. Wendy’s album recordings and live shows are always lyrically inspiring and genuinely uplifting. Her current passion project is the anthemic A Reminder To The World, co-written with her son Luka Nolan, and sung by a group of young millennials aptly named The Wild Bunch.
Collaborating with Wendy will be Lionel Bastos, another name that has been firmly rooted in the local folk scene for many years.
Doors open at 7pm and the show will start at 8pm.
