Opening with Mamthug, your favourite DJ's favourite DJ, Cape Town's rising political jazz band Kujenga, Jonathan Crossley will illuminate the Basement circle with South African jazz greats Marcus Wyatt, Carlo Mombelli & Jonno Sweetman treading an exciting line between jazz and rock, all the way from Switzerland we have Luca Forcucci's electroacoustic soundscapes exploring West-African music traditions, and last but not least we have pianist Esther Flückiger in collaboration with two masterful South African multi-instrumentalists: Volley Nchabeleng and Mabeleng Moholo.

OLUZAYO - AFRICAN MUSIC FUTURES in partnership NewMusicSA invites you to the closing party of the 2023 ISCM World New Music Days (WNMD), marking the 100th-anniversary edition of this historic celebration of music and creativity.
