ABOUT

Franschhoek Chamber Music Festival

Franschhoek to stage third music festival with CPO and global stars

The third annual Franschhoek Chamber Music and Art Festival with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra musicians and international artists will take place from the 15th - 18th February 2024.

Following the success of the first two in 2022 and 2023, which proved to be a highlight of the town's annual calendar, the third will feature the feted Berlin-based South African violinist and pianist, Avigail and Ammiel Bushakevitz, with many of South Africa's favorite musicians..
Nic Barrow, FCMF chairman and co-founder with his wife Ferda, says that the town, a drawcard for international visitors, embraced the festival so warmly that summer in the wine lands will never be the same!

There are too many highlights to mention and you will find the full schedule here.

All the performances will be in the Dutch Reformed Church, with its fine acoustics for chamber music. The church is located in the centre of the town, with ample shaded parking nearby.

Tickets are R260.00 per person per concert.
The programme booklet will be distributed from the Franschhoek Tourism Office from January 2024.
