Jazz on the Bay is delighted to present the Hilton Schilder Trio on 3rd December for our fabulous first Sundays at the Simon’s Town Country Club. Be sure to secure your tickets now for this event – capacity is limited and we're confident that this will be a performance you won't want to miss!
Hilton Schilder is a Cape Town born multi-instrumentalist, composer and raconteur who is always producing something new. He is renowned for his mastery of 16 instruments, both indigenous and conventional. Hilton has undoubtedly helped to mould the sound of what is now known as Cape Jazz and is a globally recognised treasure who has collaborated with nearly every legendary South African musician as well as though from further afield. Hilton also features on more than 40 jazz, rock, punk, ghoema and world music and classical albums.
For this very special performance, Hilton is joined by Clayton Norman Pretorius on bass and Kurt Bowers on drums.
There is a full bar service available as well as a fantastic food bar offering a great quality menu.
